Note about food:
Over here at Fantasia we do not believe in just feeding dog food, we believe in feeding FRESH HEALTHY human grade food to our dogs daily diet and our dogs live very long lives most live to 14-16 years of age (yes we have more dogs than most breeders as retired dogs are NEVER sold or given away, our dogs live out their lives with us.) And a dog we bred that was raw fed lived to 18 years of age.
Our dogs eat a varied diet of dog food, human food, freeze dried raw food, raw food, fruits, veggies, etc. And we would like them to continue that diet in their new homes. If you would prefer to just feed dry dog food daily please look elsewhere for your baby. (would you want to eat the same thing everyday over and over again?) Just dog food is not healthy. We have always added fresh food to our dogs diet since we started our breeding program.

We have been owned by Shih Tzu since 1994 and went to our first show in the late 1990's. We have been actively showing our dogs until a few years ago and although based in the Philippines aside from Philippine Champions, Philippine Grand Champions, and Hall of Fame, we have bred American Champions, Canadian Champions, Russian Champions, Malaysian Champions, Mexican Champions, among others. Our Dogs can be found in many parts of the world as loving companions or as show dogs. To this day we still hold the record for the most American Champions bred by a Philippine Shih Tzu Kennel.
We have bred many BIS and BISS winners over the years, with limited breeding and showing. Our Black and White male was the first b/w shih tzu to win an FCI -Best In Show in the Philippines, a feat that has not been repeated.
We are no longer actively showing but we hope to be showing again in the near future. We do still breed to keep our lines. Our dogs live with us in our house and not in a separate kennel building.
Our Maltese are a recent foray, though we purchased 2 Maltese in the early 2000's that did not turn out well, but now we started with Maltese again in 2017.
We place our babies as spayed / neutered dogs in loving pet homes or intact in qualified show homes or breeder homes that share the same breeding practices that we do. Our dogs are used to cats as we have 8 rescued cats in our home.

We prefer that our dogs go to PET homes, we occasionally will have a show / breeding dog available - please email. or fill out our form
Our PET Puppies do not go to new homes until 4 - 5 months of age or older - please do not ask us for younger puppies.

PCCI Registration - FCI member so can be registered in any FCI member country registry or AKC and CKC.
Dewormed according to their age
Flea and tick treatment
ALL their shots - by a licensed vet
Been Spayed / Neutered for pets or of you prefer Ligated or have Vasectomy for those who wish the dogs keep their parts.
Been Microchipped
All dogs come to new homes with their vaccination card, a small bag of food, toys, a lixit water bottle, toys, and all basic supplies they need, etc.

This already includes the spay/neuter surgery , I take the risk, not you. And the dogs are completely recovered before they go to you. Most of the time extra baby teeth have also already been removed. If I know you and are sure you are not a puppy mill, I may let you have an intact pet as some people prefer that pets are fixed at a later date.
They eat fabulous food and are in A/C 24/7. We are not a source of "cheap" pets.
Prices for pets only cover what we spend for vaccinations and the surgery we make no money on our pets we simply want them to go to good loving
homes, where they will be loved and cherished.
If a well bred, healthy, fabulous dog is your priority, then we will be able to help you. Yes we are happy to sell show quality dogs as pets, pets are so much luckier. We prefer our dogs go to loving pet homes.
Only show / breeding prospects are sold intact and can be bred from.
Show / Breeding prospects do not leave us until after the teeth have changed.
Prices are higher than pet prices.

At Fantasia, we are passionate about producing top quality puppies that FIT the breed standard. We are proud in breeding correct dogs whether they are representing us in the show ring or in being loved as a family pet. We do not have imperial, empress, princess, teacup, whatever type of Shih Tzu or Maltese. There is ONLY 1 kind of Shih Tzu or Maltese, The one described in the breed standard.
The Shih Tzu is our main breed and that is what we are most known for, we might occasionally have a Maltese litter now and then as we foray into the Maltese breed.
All our babies are raised in our home, loved and cared for since birth in a very clean environment, they are all up to date on deworming, shots, etc. Most puppies DO NOT leave our home until at least 16 weeks of age or more, when they have had all their shots and no longer need their mother.
ALL pets leave me already spayed/neutered. So I take care of them after surgery, and all, all you have to do is take your new puppy home and enjoy. They will not need shots until next year. As their shots are complete when they leave.
We prefer not to ship our dogs cargo, if you want a Shih Tzu or Maltese from us from overseas we will arrange a pet nanny if possible. When there is no other choice, then cargo shipping is done, but we will find the shortest route possible.
If you live in the Philippines, you have to be in Metro Manila or arrange your own transportation to get your Shih Tzu to you if you live in another island to have one of our babies as the airlines in Philippines does not allow dogs under the seat and PAL has banned shih tzu from cargo - I used to be ok with the 4am flight to Davao as it arrives at 6am before the sun comes up. Maltese we can safely ship. Maltese can be safely shipped to almost any point in the Philippines.

Please email about yourself your home other family member and your doggy history and who will be the main day time care giver to a new puppy. This will help me know whom I'm speaking with and if a Shih Tzu or Maltese would be a good match for you and your family.
I do not accept deposits on my available puppies until they have visited our Vet for their well puppy check up and first Vaccinations at 10 weeks old. Deposits are non refundable once accepted and are applied to the adoption fee .
My adoption fees reflect the time and expense to me to raise beautiful happy healthy FCI standard correct Shih tzu or Maltese. We are not a source of cheap puppies. Our dogs live in a/c 24/7 in a large room dedicated only to them, they dine on the finest morsels. If cheap price is important to you, please go elsewhere. If you cannot afford the price of our puppies you definitely cannot afford the upkeep of a purebred dog. Will you just let your dogs die during an emergency?
All of my puppies are raised under foot , handled daily by me personally and well socialized.
They are crate trained and potty pad trained.
